Neurodivergent Dating vs Hiki: which suits you?
Two services made for neurodivergent adults, built in different ways. Here is how they differ, fairly.
The short answer
Hiki is a free friendship and dating app for autistic, ADHD and neurodivergent adults, founded in the US in 2019, where chat opens once two people have matched. Neurodivergent Dating is a dating site you can use in any browser, where free members can send a few messages every day and reply to anyone on VIP. If you want a phone app built around mutual matches, Hiki is worth a look; if you want to start conversations without waiting for a match, try Neurodivergent Dating.

Who each is really for
Hiki launched in the US in 2019 as a dating and friendship app for the autistic community, and its founder Jamil Karriem says it has been built with and by neurodivergent adults. It now welcomes neurodivergent people more broadly. The name means "able" in Hawaiian.
Neurodivergent Dating welcomes singles with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and every other kind of neurodivergence, and most of our members are in the UK and the US.
How you meet people
On Hiki you send a heart for romantic interest or a smile for friendship, and private chat opens when the interest is mutual. On Neurodivergent Dating you get daily suggestions and can message people directly: Classic members have a daily allowance, and anyone can reply to a VIP member. Some people prefer the reassurance of a mutual match first; others would rather say hello straight away.
Safety
Both offer verification. Ours includes a free ID check for a badge, a moderator-led video check if you would rather not send documents, and an alert when someone tries to move your conversation to an outside app. Our safety page explains each one.
Can you use both?
Yes. Plenty of people do. Try each for a couple of weeks and keep the one where the conversations feel right. See how we compare with Dating4Disabled and Hinge too.
